Ambassador Saadia Altaf Qazi’s message

It is with great honour that I recently undertook the role of Ambassador of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Norway. Carrying on the legacy of my predecessors, I will use the best of my abilities and efforts to deepen the already existing close bilateral relations between Pakistan and Norway in the spheres of political, economic, trade & investment, science & technology, information technology, climate & environment, tourism, culture and people-to-people contacts.

Pakistan enjoys longstanding friendly relations with Norway that are rooted in shared perceptions on a number of regional and global issues as well as mutuality of interest. The presence of a strong Pakistan-origin community in Norway further strengthens our ties and provides an enduring link for people-to-people contacts.

The Pakistani community has rendered great services in all walks of life in Norway and contributes to the socio-cultural and economic enrichment of both the countries. Serving our diaspora in Norway so as to facilitate the link between the country of their origin and country of their choice will be among my top priorities.

I look forward to valuable support of our community so that opportunities for business, tourism, culture and academic exchanges in Pakistan are increasingly known in Norway.

Pakistan Zindabad!

Pakistan-Norway Friendship Zindabad!

Profound Regards

Saadia Altaf Qazi

Ambassador of Pakistan to Norway
